It was an unforgettable moment for Hudson Fasching, but he might not remember it.

The Buffalo Sabres winger said he was so fired up after scoring his first NHL goal that he nearly blacked out.

"I was talking to my buddies and my parents and I was like, 'If I score in my first game I don't know what I'm going to do,'" Fasching told reporters postgame, according to John Vogl of The Buffalo News.

"'I'm going to be blacked out on adrenaline and just so excited,'" Fasching added. "That was almost the case. I was just so excited out there."

Fasching beat Winnipeg Jets goaltender Michael Hutchinson for his first career goal in his first game Saturday.

That wasn't the only time Fasching felt a bit disoriented during the game.

The 20-year-old winger notched 38 points in 37 games with the University of Minnesota this season.

He was acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Kings in March 2014 after being selected in the fourth round of the 2013 draft.
