Both defensemen are dealing with respective and undisclosed upper- and lower-body injuries that will keep them off the ice, according to Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch.
Johnson, who saw over 24 minutes of ice time in Tuesday's loss to the Dallas Stars, has recorded three goals and five assists in 33 games this season. For his part, Savard played only 14:18 against the Stars, and has recorded 13 assists in an equal number of games.
The Blue Jackets will also be without top center Ryan Johansen, who's sitting as a healthy scratch.
