Predators' Craig Smith fined for high-sticking Sabres' D'Amigo

Nashville Predators forward Craig Smith will be a little lighter in the wallet after an incident against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night.
Smith was fined $5,000 for high-sticking Sabres forward Jerry D'Amigo during the Predators' 3-0 victory.
The Nashville center was assessed a double minor penalty after his stick struck D'Amigo in the head.
The Sabres forward bled as he was helped off the ice.
