Blues' Backes records 4 straight goals in 17 minutes vs. Coyotes
David Backes was feeling it during Tuesday's game in Arizona.
The St. Louis Blues captain scored three straight goals on the Coyotes over the course of 8:38 during the second period, recording the natural hat trick in the process.
The first two goals were scored on the man advantage, while the third came at even strength on as smooth a release as you're going to see.

He then added a fourth 3:15 into the third period, marking a ridiculous offensive explosion over the course of exactly 17 minutes of play.

The Blues now have five players that have recorded hat tricks this season, the first time that has happened in 30 years.
The Coyotes' reaction to the outburst pretty much summed it up from their end.
