Nathan MacKinnon's once-spotless reputation is steadily being polluted.
The Colorado Avalanche star will likely catch the attention of the Department of Player Safety for the second time this season after delivering this nasty elbow toward the head of Winnipeg Jets forward Mathieu Perreault.
MacKinnon came under fire earlier this season for a dangerous shove to the back of Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn.
He landed the elbow on one of just four shifts provided by head coach Patrick Roy in the third period.
