Marshawn Lynch hints at retirement with photo of hanging cleats

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch cryptically hinted he's retiring.
Lynch was reportedly mulling retirement throughout the offseason, after fending off numerous injuries during the 2015 season.
During the middle of Super Bowl 50, Lynch tweeted out a photo of cleats hung up on a clothesline, accompanied by a peace sign emoji.

Earlier Sunday, it was reported Lynch told his confidantes he plans to retire.
Although no formal announcement was made, the Seahawks appeared to tacitly acknowledge Lynch's football career is coming to a sharp denouement.

To be clear, this isn't a confirmation of Lynch's imminent decision, but it sure seems like the media-averse superstar could be done after nine excellent seasons.
