Sunday Updates
- I'm not sure if Marc Trestman and the Bears are trying to throw the 49ers off by making them think Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery aren't playing Sunday night, but if both players miss the game it will destroy Chicago's fantasy prospects this week. Marshall has been incredibly durable during his career, and would still be a top-10 receiver if he plays, despite not practicing all week. Jeffery worries me a little more, but he did get in a limited practice Friday. Santonio Holmes could be starting in a lot of fantasy lineups come Sunday night.
- Cordarrelle Patterson gets a slight bump with Adrian Peterson deactivated for Sunday's game. Patterson could see even more carries out the backfield this week with Peterson out. Patterson had three carries in Week 1 and turned them into 102 yards and a touchdown. Not to mention, he's just fun to watch.
- Reports of Larry Fitzgerald's decline are going to be forgotten after this week. He's a top-20 receiver against the Giants.
- Keep an eye on the Jaguars receiving situation. Week 1 star Allen Hurns and his teammate Marquise Lee have a nice matchup with the Redskins, especially if Cecil Shorts is sidelined once again.
