Sunday's Small Forward Value Rankings

David Richard / USA TODAY Sports

Here are theScore's small forward value rankings for Sunday, March 27:

Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C

Top Option

Name Opponent Value
Paul George (IND) vs. HOU 9

Small forward is not looking pretty on Sunday. George is your best option, even considering his recent leg injury. He played Saturday and even though he may see slightly reduced minutes, the Rockets have a difficult time defending anyone. If he sits, go cheap.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
Michael Beasley (HOU) at IND 7
Jeff Green (LAC) vs. DEN 6
Otto Porter (WAS) at LAL 6
Harrison Barnes (GS) vs. PHI 6
Robert Covington (PHI) at GS 5
Rudy Gay (SAC) vs. DAL 5

Beasley has cut into Trevor Ariza's production. He's still very up and down. With his salary higher than it maybe should be, he is a risky selection, but he's shown he can score in bunches and DFS owners will not get penalized for his missed shots.

Green is similarly unreliable, but his upside makes him worth an occasional flier. He's a complementary pick and should not be expected to carry a roster to success.

Porter's floor time is appealing, but his salary has risen steadily along with his spike in production. The Lakers offer him an opportunity to return solid value, though it's something he failed to do in their last meeting.

Covington is still relatively fresh off his concussion. Expectations need to be tempered, but he could be a solid contrarian pick with others fading him.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Jerami Grant (PHI) at GS 4
Omri Casspi (SAC) vs. DAL 3
Trevor Ariza (HOU) at IND 3

Grant may be getting more time at power forward, but he is too inconsistent to be worth a confident selection. He has failed to make that final step forward in the wake of Philadelphia's laundry list of injuries.
