Here are theScore's center value rankings for Sunday's five-game slate.

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
Jusuf Nurkic (DEN) at LAC 8
Marcin Gortat (WAS) at LAL 8
Salah Mejri (DAL) at SAC 8

Despite limited minutes in Denver's crowded frontcourt, Nurkic has scored in double figures in five of six games while piling up blocks, steals and rebounds. He's a threat to return six to seven times his value on a given night.

Gortat has double-doubles in four of five games, with point and rebound totals in the low teens. He registered 18 points and 10 rebounds against the Lakers in their previous meeting this season.

After seeing 63 minutes over two straight games against Portland, Mejri only saw 16 minutes against Golden State. Against a traditional post player in Sacramento's DeMarcus Cousins, he should be deployed for a regular workload. Aside from two consecutive double-doubles against the Blazers, the Tunisia native has a whopping 11 blocks over his last three games.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
Dwight Howard (HOU) at IND 7
DeAndre Jordan (LAC) vs. DEN 7
Marreese Speights (GS) vs. PHI 7
Nikola Jokic (DEN) at LAC 6
Willie Cauley-Stein (SAC) vs. DAL 6
Ian Mahinmi (IND) vs. HOU 6

Howard has just seven points and eight field goal attempts combined over his last two games. In Indiana and Houston's previous meeting this season, Howard had 21 points and 17 rebounds. Maybe a game like that won't happen again, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see the team attempt to involve him more.

Speights has cooled off since scoring in double figures in five of six games in mid-March, but has significant garbage time potential at home to the 76ers. Andrew Bogut may start, but rarely plays any more than 20 minutes.

Jokic is still productive despite rarely playing beyond 30 minutes, but doesn't offer the same level of value now that Nurkic and Lauvergne frequently see the floor as well.

Cauley-Stein could be moderately productive, but don't expect a repeat of Friday's stunning 26 points and six rebounds; in nine previous games, he'd only totaled 39 points.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Joffrey Lauvergne (DEN) at LAC 5

The minimum-priced Lauvergne can certainly be productive when he sees the floor, but his playing time tends to fluctuate drastically. He's had five games of 14 or fewer minutes in his last 10, to go with three games of 23 or more. He's a GPP flier only.
