Alex Ovechkin isn't going to run and hide from a little snow.
The Washington Capitals captain brushed off talk of the storm when spotted at a gas station Friday and showed no fear of the precipitation when it arrived in full force Saturday:
Ovechkin told reporters Friday that he can handle the weather because he's "from Russia, so we always have that kind of stuff."
Point taken.
Friday's game between the Capitals and the Anaheim Ducks was postponed due to the storm, as is Washington's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday.
