The Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender suffered a groin strain Thursday and is back on injured reserve, the club announced Friday.

Groin issues cost Bobrovsky most of December and January. He played Tuesday and Thursday after being out since Dec. 8, and he wasn't very good, allowing seven goals on 40 shots. He has a .911 save percentage in Columbus' lost season.
Joining Bobrovsky on IR is defenseman David Savard, retroactive to Jan. 13. He's got an oblique strain, and should be back in mid-February.
The club activated captain Nick Foligno and Matt Calvert in corresponding moves. Foligno missed six games with an upper-body injury, while a knee injury cost Calvert the last nine games.
