Anything you can do, I can do better.
A pair of Russian superstars tried to outdo one another Monday as Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin and St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko exchanged carbon-copy goals.
After Malkin beat defenseman Jay Bouwmeester wide and shelfed the puck over the blocking glove of goaltender Brian Elliott.

Then just 1:18 later, Tarasenko responded as he thrust the puck past Jeff Zatkoff.
Stastny: "The battle of the Russians there. I think once Malkin had that nice goal, then Vladi got upset." #stlblues
