Here are theScore's sample NHL daily fantasy lineups for Monday:
Cash Game Without UTIL
| POS | NAME | OPPONENT |
|---|---|---|
| LW | Andrew Ladd (WPG) | vs. COL |
| LW | Carl Hagelin (PIT) | at STL |
| RW | Blake Wheeler (WPG) | vs. COL |
| RW | Mark Stone (OTT) | at SJ |
| C | Martin Hanzal (ARI) | vs. BUF |
| C | Evgeni Malkin (PIT) | at STL |
| D | Oliver Ekman-Larsson (ARI) | vs. BUF |
| D | Dustin Byfuglien (WPG) | vs. COL |
| G | Craig Anderson (OTT) | at SJ |
On a night without any high-end goaltenders, Anderson is worthy of consideration in cash games. His routinely high save totals may negate his need for a win, as long as he can limit the Sharks to a goal or two. Hagelin went point-less in his Penguins debut, but he'll have a second opportunity with Malkin and RW Phil Kessel.
OEL and Byfuglien are locks to pile up the shots from the backend, points will be available against weak opponents.
GPP Without UTIL
| POS | NAME | OPPONENT |
|---|---|---|
| LW | Taylor Hall (EDM) | at FLA |
| LW | Curtis Lazar (OTT) | at SJ |
| RW | Vladimir Tarasenko (STL) | vs. PIT |
| RW | Blake Wheeler (WPG) | vs. COL |
| C | Jori Lehtera (STL) | vs. PIT |
| C | Logan Couture (SJ) | vs. OTT |
| D | Rasmus Ristolainen (BUF) | at ARI |
| D | Erik Karlsson (OTT) | at SJ |
| G | Connor Hellebuyck (WPG) | vs. COL |
Karlsson is a GPP option Monday, as he's been struggling on offense and most owners will be willing to spend up for Burns. Ristolainen should figure into any offensive production the Sabres generate.
Lehtera and Tarasenko have been quiet of late, but the latter has still registered three or more shots in each of his past three games. Lehtera has taken on the role of goal scorer, with tallies in back-to-back games.

Cash Game With UTIL
| POS | NAME | OPPONENT |
|---|---|---|
| C | Logan Couture (SJ) | vs. OTT |
| C | Bryan Little (WPG) | vs. COL |
| W | Blake Wheeler (WPG) | vs. COL |
| W | Mikkel Boedker (ARI) | vs. BUF |
| W | Taylor Hall (EDM) | at FLA |
| D | Andrej Sekera (EDM) | at FLA |
| D | Olli Maatta (PIT) | at STL |
| G | Louis Domingue (ARI) | vs. BUF |
| UTIL | Tomas Hertl (SJ) | vs. OTT |
Couture has just one goal and two assists in his past five games, but he's just one game removed from firing a whopping 11 shots on goal at the Edmonton Oilers. Hall struggles on the road, but his price is dropping and he still gets his SOG. Wheeler and Little have been hot of late and take on an Avalanche team with falling possession numbers.
Sekera and Maatta see lots of ice time in dangerous offenses. Domingue has been nearly unbeatable, and he'll have a great chance for the win while on home ice.
GPP With UTIL
| POS | NAME | OPPONENT |
|---|---|---|
| C | Logan Couture (SJ) | vs. OTT |
| C | Joe Thornton (SJ) | vs. OTT |
| W | Patrick Marleau (SJ) | vs. OTT |
| W | Nikolaj Ehlers (WPG) | vs. COL |
| W | Carl Hagelin (PIT) | at STL |
| D | Brent Burns (SJ) | vs. OTT |
| D | Dmitry Kulikov (FLA) | vs. EDM |
| G | Cam Talbot (EDM) | at FLA |
| UTIL | Joe Pavelski (SJ) | vs. OTT |
Double down on Couture in GPPs and load up on his linemates. The Sharks have the league's fifth-best power play, while the Senators have the second-worst penalty kill. Talbot has a chance for the road win against a Panthers team with the league's worst Corsi For Percentage since the beginning of 2016.
