The Colorado Avalanche might want to start paying attention to one of the NHL's most prolific goal-scorers.
Steven Stamkos was left completely wide open on two separate occasions Tuesday, burying back-to-back second-period goals to give the Tampa Bay Lightning a commanding lead.
Amid constant speculation over his contract negotiations, Stamkos continues to put together a very solid season.
The 25-year-old forward has 20 goals in 43 games.
