The Florida Panthers won't have their Calder Trophy winner in the lineup when they face the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night.

Panthers head coach Gerard Gallant told reporters that defenseman Aaron Ekblad will not play in the contest, according to Sportsnet's Irfaan Gaffar.

The 19-year-old blue-liner was boarded by Matt Hendricks in Florida's 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday night. He briefly exited the game, but later returned.
