It was Kane's 24th goal of the season, and he scored his 25th midway through the second period, giving Chicago a 4-2 lead, and tying him with Jamie Benn for the league lead.

Later, Alex Ovechkin scored his 25th and 26th - the 500th and 501st goals of his career - to leapfrog Kane and Benn for the NHL lead this season.
