Zach Werenski isn't feeling malaise and blue at Michigan.
The Columbus Blue Jackets lottery selection and United States captain at the World Junior Hockey Championship earlier this month refuted a recent report suggesting he's unhappy in Ann Arbor, and wanting to turn pro.
"I'm happy," Werenski said, according to David Goricki of The Detroit News. "That was a terrible rumor, bad timing too, especially going on with the tournament. It's not something you want to see. That's why it's a rumor and you have to push it off.
"I was kind of like, 'What is this?' when I read it. I just put it behind me. You see all that stuff. It pops up on your timeline. At that point, I just stopped looking at Twitter. I have bigger things to worry about than that."
Werenski also told Goricki that he hasn't made a decision on whether he will join Seth Jones and Ryan Murray on the Blue Jackets' now nascent blue line next season, explaining that a national championship is the only thing on his mind.
