The offensive woes continued for the Ottawa Senators on Sunday as they were held scoreless for a second consecutive game, losing to the Chicago Blackhawks 3-0.

Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford earned his third straight win in the 300th start of his NHL career, and holds a 7-3-0 record with an incredible four shutouts in his past 10 games.

Meanwhile, Craig Anderson stopped 27-of-29 shots he faced in the Senators net, much improved from his previous game where he allowed seven goals against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday.

Duncan Keith and Artem Anisimov both beat Anderson, while Andrew Desjardins scored his fourth goal in three games on an empty net with 48 seconds remaining.

Ottawa has now lost five of its last six games, and has another tough road game ahead as it pays visit to the St. Louis Blues on Monday.
