St. Louis Blues forward Patrik Berglund will make his season debut Saturday versus the Toronto Maple Leafs, returning to the lineup after a lengthy recovery from shoulder surgery.
Berglund and the Blues made the decision to have him undergo surgery in August after he aggravated a pre-existing injury while training in the summer.
He appeared in 77 games and played in the Blues' first-round series defeat at the hands of the Minnesota Wild last season, but was limited to 12 goals and 15 assists playing through his ailment.
