St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko won't play Thursday against the Minnesota Wild because he's ill, according to Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The 24-year-old has appeared in all but one game this season, leading the team with 24 goals and 39 points.
Tarasenko didn't participate in the morning skate, but was expected to suit up for the New Year's Eve matchup. He has five points in his last four contests versus the Wild.
