Parise not expected to play Thursday; Kuemper to skip road trip

The Minnesota Wild aren't likely to have Zach Parise and definitely won't have goaltender Darcy Kuemper for the first stop on a four-game road trip Thursday against the St. Louis Blues.
Minnesota head coach Mike Yeo said Wednesday he doesn't expect Parise to be ready to face the Blues, but the forward will join his teammates on the trip.
Kuemper has been diagnosed with what the team is calling a "mild concussion," and the backup netminder won't travel this time around.
Parise suffered an undisclosed injury in practice Sunday, but played and recorded two assists in a 3-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Monday night.
