Here are theScore's shooting guard value rankings for Monday's nine-game slate.

Top Options
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Arron Afflalo (NY) | vs. ORL | 8 |
Garrett Temple (WAS) | vs. SAC | 8 |
Gerald Henderson (POR) | at ATL | 8 |
Jimmy Butler (CHI) | vs. BKN | 7 |
In his last five games, Afflalo is averaging approximately 20 points and four rebounds, and is still priced like a mid-level starter.
Henderson will benefit with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum held out Monday.
Temple started Saturday, playing 35 minutes and registering 21 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. He likely earned another start over Gary Neal in what looks like a high-scoring affair, though Neal's 3-point shooting, which was cold Saturday, could help the ex-Spur cut into Temple's minutes.
Butler is averaging 37.5 minutes - third-most in the NBA - and after receiving a 33-minute "rest day" against the Knicks on Saturday, should be ready to assume his typical workload.
Best of the Rest
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Eric Bledsoe (PHO) | at UTA | 7 |
Jamal Crawford (LAC) | vs. OKC | 7 |
James Harden (HOU) | vs. CHA | 7 |
Evan Turner (BOS) | vs. MIN | 6 |
Victor Oladipo (ORL) | at NY | 6 |
J.J. Redick (LAC) | vs. OKC | 6 |
Gary Neal (WAS) | vs. SAC | 6 |
Andrew Wiggins (MIN) | at BOS | 6 |
Avery Bradley (BOS) | vs. MIN | 5 |
Crawford may see some extra time as the de facto backup PG if Austin Rivers (ankle) sits out Monday. Turner has been outperforming Bradley of late, who has only scored nine points combined in his last two games.
Oladipo doesn't often see more than 30 minutes now that he's been moved to a bench role, limiting his upside. The scoring is always there with Wiggins, but rebounding and assist figures are inconsistent.
Nothing to See Here
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Kyle Korver (ATL) | vs. POR | 5 |
Alec Burks (UTA) | vs. PHX | 5 |
Manu Ginobili (SA) | vs. IND | 5 |
Ben McLemore (SAC) | at WAS | 4 |
Monta Ellis (IND) | at SA | 4 |
Kevin Martin (MIN) | at BOS | 4 |
With Utah's crowded guard rotation, there's a ceiling on Burks, Rodney Hood, and Trey Burke with only so many minutes to go around.
Ginobili is typically productive in his 20 minutes per game, but his upside is obviously capped. Ellis has been slumping of late, perhaps due to a knee injury he's playing through, and the Spurs are the NBA's best defensive team.
