Sunday's Center Value Rankings

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Here are the center value rankings for Sunday, December 13:

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Hassan Whiteside (MIA) vs. MEM 9
Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN) at PHX 8
Alex Len (PHX) vs. MIN 8

A string of games with less playing time has cut some of Whiteside's production. The upside of that is that his DFS pricing has fallen in lockstep while his Per-36 rates haven't really changed. All Whiteside needs is more playing time and he will smash through his mid-tier salary - and he'll play a lot against traditional big men in Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph.

Best of the Rest

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Jahlil Okafor (PHI) at TOR 7
Gorgui Dieng (MIN) at PHX 6
Marc Gasol (MEM) at MIA 6
Steven Adams (OKC) vs. UTA 5
Enes Kanter (OKC) vs. UTA 5

Okafor is a turnstile on defense but has the chops to leverage his post game over the middle-aged Luis Scola; the question is whether he can also solve Bismack Biyombo. Dieng's salary was slow to react to his increased role but he's now properly priced on most sites.

Gasol has averaged 18/10.5/4.5 and added three blocks and three steals over his past two starts but will struggle against Whiteside.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Bismack Biyombo (TOR) vs. PHI 4

Biyombo's shooting range is still the length of his arm and he might struggle against two volume rebounders in Okafor and Nerlens Noel. He is averaging 30 minutes a game over his last three starts but if the Raptors can put the 76ers away early Biyombo might not even have the luxury of playing out garbage time.
