Here are the point guard value rankings for Sunday, December 13:

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Kyle Lowry (TOR) vs. PHI 10
Brandon Knight (PHX) vs. MIN 8

Lowry has been one of the most complete players in the game of late and will be defended by the 76ers' replacement-level talent. Knight struggled mightily against the Blazers Friday, logging only one point on 0-for-12 shooting but that seems like more of an anomaly than something to be worried about; he had scored fewer than 19 points only twice in nine games prior.

Best of the Rest

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Russell Westbrook (OKC) vs. UTA 7
Goran Dragic (MIA) vs. MEM 6
Trey Burke (UTA) at OKC 6
Cory Joseph (TOR) vs. PHI 6
Zach LaVine (MIN) at PHX 6
T.J. McConnell (PHI) at TOR 5
Ricky Rubio (MIN) at PHX 5

Westbrook has considerable talents and one of the league's highest ceilings, but he might not be able to reach those peaks against the Jazz. Without Rudy Gobert in the paint, Utah held the Thunder to 94 points Friday and kept the Knicks to 85 points the game before.

Joseph has become a fringe candidate for Sixth Man of the Year but much of that is owed to his defense and not his DFS potential. LaVine has the athleticism to match Knight and Eric Bledsoe but he has only topped 30 minutes in a game once in his last 10 outings. McConnell is 60% of a walking triple-double but his awful shooting limits his potential and makes him tough to predict.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Mike Conley (MEM) at MIA 4
Isaiah Canaan (PHI) at TOR 2

Surprisingly, the Heat have allowed the second-fewest points per game this season and have held opponents to just 41.6% shooting. That doesn't bode well for Conley. After years of being underrated it can now be said that the Grizzlies' veteran is properly rated as a solid contributor but not a must-have DFS play.
