Sunday's Shooting Guard Value Rankings

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

Here are the shooting guard value rankings for Sunday, December 13:

Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
DeMar DeRozan (TOR) vs. PHI 9
Andrew Wiggins (MIN) at PHX 8
Kevin Martin (MIN) at PHX 8

The 76ers' backcourt rotation is a bit of a mess, featuring some combination of Tony Wroten, T.J. McConnell, Kendall Marshall and Hollis Thompson. Philadelphia will face a tough match-up in DeRozan, though they have generally limited fantasy points for opposing shooting guards.

Best of the Rest

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Alec Burks (UTA) at OKC 6
Courtney Lee (MEM) at MIA 6
Rodney Hood (UTA) at OKC 5
Dwyane Wade (MIA) vs. MEM 5

Wade might be the biggest name among active SGs but with inconsistent shooting from outside, he'll be forced to drive into the paint for his buckets where he'll meet tough rim protectors Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol.

Burks and Hood are both mid-tier options that can be deployed for different DFS formats - Burks and his scoring potential for tournaments and the stable Hood for cash games. Lee has scored in double-digits in six of his last nine games and his low price is an easy hurdle to a healthy fantasy return.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Eric Bledsoe (PHX) vs. MIN 4
Dion Waiters (OKC) vs. UTA 3
Hollis Thompson (PHI) at TOR 2

Bledsoe was his dominant self, notching 31 points, five assists, four rebounds, a block and a steal against Portland Friday, but with an ever-ballooning salary, it's worth considering that the T-Wolves' Wiggins might be one of the only perimeter players in the game able to match the raw athleticism of the Suns' SG.
