Hawks' Korver out, Teague probable vs. Nets

Brett Davis / USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Hawks will not be at full strength when they play host to the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday.

Shooting guard Kyle Korver will sit out, while point guard Jeff Teague and Thabo Sefolosha are probable, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Backup power forward Mike Muscala is listed as questionable.

Similar to their game against the Charlotte Hornets last Friday, the Hawks are sitting Korver on the second night of a back-to-back in an effort to rest his surgically repaired ankle.

Teague, meanwhile, sustained a finger injury last Friday. X-rays were negative, and it appears the Hawks' lead guard is ready for action on Wednesday. He played 34 minutes in Atlanta's win Tuesday, scoring a team-high 26 points.

Sefolosha is also recovering from offseason surgery, while Muscala sustained an ankle injury in the Hawks' season opener.
