VIDEO: Colon drives in game-winning run in 1st postseason at-bat
The so-called weakness of the Kansas City Royals revealed itself as the X-factor in Game 5 of the World Series.
Ned Yost's bench helped the Royals claim their second championship in franchise history after pinch-runner Jarrod Dyson and pinch-hitter Christian Colon collaborated on Kansas City's go-ahead run during the 12th inning against the New York Mets.

With Dyson on third after replacing Salvador Perez to lead off the inning, Colon singled off Addison Reed in his first plate appearance of the World Series to give the Royals a 3-2 lead en route to their series-winning 7-2 victory.
Colon, who had yet to appear in a game this postseason, scored two batters later on Alcides Escobar's RBI double during the Royals' five-run inning.
