Anthony takes Porzingis, other Knicks to Puerto Rico
While LeBron James is in the Philippines and Mike Miller is promoting an energy drink in Hong Kong, Carmelo Anthony is also traveling - with some of his New York Knicks teammates in tow.
Anthony is in Puerto Rico for his annual "A Very Melo Weekend" fundraiser. He has Puerto Rican heritage, and owns a new NASL soccer team set to begin play there next season.
In addition to fun on the island, Melo assembled some of his new and old Knicks teammates for a minicamp, including first-round picks Kristaps Porzingis and Jerian Grant, as well as new addition Kevin Seraphin.

Anthony appears to have taken the 20-year-old Porzingis under his wing. He quickly shot down rumors of discontent after the Knicks selected the Latvian No. 4 in June's draft, and he's been working out with him since.
