The Pittsburgh Pirates selected Ke'Bryan Hayes with the 32nd overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft.
Hayes, the son of long-time major leaguer Charlie Hayes, projects as one of the better-hitting players in the draft. Though his power will come down the road, he's got a tremendous line drive swing as is.
That said, he's not much of an impact guy on the bases, but he's not a clogger by any means, either. Instead, he makes up for it with great instincts at third base.

Overview
More is less for Hayes who excels by not doing too much at the plate. Featuring an effortless right-handed swing, he uses all of the field by hitting line drives into the gap and projects to hit for a high average with plenty of doubles. Scouts believe he has the ability to develop average power.
At 6-foot-1, 207 pounds, Hayes lacks speed around the basepaths but he could remain at third base at the major-league level due to his strong arm and baseball instincts.
His father, Charlie Hayes, played 15 seasons in the majors.
