Report: La'el Collins to re-enter draft in 2016 if not selected on Day 2
La'el Collins may have to wait until 2016 to start his NFL career.
Collins won't sign a contract with any team if he isn't selected in the second or third round Friday and will re-enter the draft in 2016, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Collins' threat will become moot if he goes undrafted. In such a scenario, he would immediately become an unrestricted free agent and not be eligible to return to the draft in 2016.
Once touted as a first-round prospect, reports surfaced Tuesday that Collins was being sought for questioning in a murder investigation, which subsequently dropped his stock. Some felt he wouldn't even hear his name called at all.
Collins opted to ask the league if he could pull his name out and enter the supplemental draft, but that request was denied.
It's important to note Collins isn't a suspect in the investigation into the shooting death of a pregnant woman, believed to be his former girlfriend.
