• Longtime featherweight overlord Jose Aldo will look to use his fists to shut brash Irishman Conor McGregor's mouth when the two meet at UFC 189 in July. With hype around the potential firefight reaching fever pitch, it promises to be the biggest fight in the division's history.
• Two-time title challenger Chad Mendes is set face fellow contender Ricardo Lamas at a Fight Night event in April, with the winner moving closer to another shot at the 145-pound throne. Lamas was ultra-impressive in his last trip to the Octagon, submitting Dennis Bermudez via first-round guillotine choke at UFC 180.
• Riding a three-fight winning streak, former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will put his featherweight title aspirations on hold when he engages in a super fight against bantamweight contender Urijah Faber during the UFC's first trip to the Philippines in May.
