Sharks' Thornton won't return to lineup Thursday

San Jose Sharks forward Joe Thornton will not play on Thursday night against the St. Louis Blues.
Thornton will miss his fourth consecutive game, according to head coach Todd McLellan.
The veteran took part in Thursday's morning skate and revealed he suffered a left shoulder injury on Dec. 31 in Anaheim, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
