Watch: Harper keeps tormenting Teheran with solo shot, grand slam
Bryce Harper doesn't merely have Julio Teheran's number. He has the dude's soul, man.
Heading into Wednesday's game at SunTrust Park, the 24-year-old Washington Nationals star was 13-for-31 (.419) with five homers off Teheran in his career, so, naturally, in the first inning, Harper took the young right-hander deep to left, about 396 feet, for his fifth homer of the 2017 campaign.
Surely, then, in his next at-bat, Harper would show Teheran some mercy, right? Uh, nope. An inning later, with two outs and the bases loaded, Harper deposited Teheran's 1-0 changeup over the wall in center, notching his third career grand slam to improve to 15-for-33 (.454) against the Atlanta Braves ace.
