In other news, Jake Allen's mask was off for 10 seconds & the refs didn't blow the whistle...so he has to stop a shot. #stlblues pic.twitter.com/Quyd3TI0ec

Jake Allen is one brave S.O.B.
The St. Louis Blues backstop turned away a shot Thursday by Vancouver Canucks forward Jayson Megna even after the 26-year-old's helmet had come off.
Head coach Mike Yeo - who recorded his seventh win in eight games since taking over for Ken Hitchcock - spoke of the play postgame, and it doesn't sound like he would have done the same.
"He stood in there," Yeo said. "He's crazy."
Newly appointed goalie coach Martin Brodeur appears to have been thinking the same thing:
In all, Allen made 18 saves in the 4-3 victory, but none quite like this.
