It took an absurd 41 games, but Colorado Avalanche forward Joe Colborne finally rediscovered his scoring touch. After posting 19 goals last season, the former Calgary Flame opened 2016-17 with a three-goal performance, before posting exactly zero goals in every subsequent appearance.
But Colborne managed to finally right the ship on Sunday night, finding some open space and deceiving New York Islanders netminder Jean-Francois Berube with a sneaky backhand-forehand cutback.
