There's a reason Mikko Rantanen is one of the few untouchables on the Colorado Avalanche.
Rantanen, the 10th overall pick in 2015, netted the first hat trick of his career Tuesday, converting his third goal of the night on a one-timer past Carey Price.
Colorado's prized rookie now has 11 goals and 24 points on the season, and the Avs beat Montreal 4-0.
