Bobby Petrino isn't going to address the Wake Forest game plan scandal a second time.

Louisville spokesman Rocco Gasparro issued a statement on behalf of the Cardinals head coach Tuesday, saying Petrino "doesn't have a comment in what appears to be a Wake Forest issue," according to Steve Jones of The Courier-Journal.

Demon Deacons radio analyst Tommy Elrod was fired Tuesday after it was revealed he'd been involved in supplying opponents with "confidential and proprietary game preparations," since 2014.

Petrino was adamant his team had no knowledge of any Wake Forest game plans following a Nov. 12 matchup with the Demon Deacons.

"I can tell you that we didn't," Petrino told ESPN's "Mike and Mike" radio show last month, according to Jones. "... I heard about it right before we got on the plane to leave (for Houston on Nov. 16). But I can assure you that we prepare each week the way that you're supposed to prepare, and I like the fact that our team knows how to do that."

Wake Forest finished 6-6 in 2016, but lost five of their last six games to end the season.
