The St. Louis Blues will be without winger Jaden Schwartz for at least four weeks, as he's been sidelined with a left elbow injury, the team announced Friday.
The 24-year-old will be evaluated at the end of that timeline.
An ankle injury limited Schwartz to just 33 games last season, in which he recorded 22 points. The Blues' first-round pick in the 2010 draft, Schwartz has notched 157 points in 240 career games.
Schwartz signed a five-year extension with the Blues in July.
