Full UFC 205 card to be revealed at Tuesday presser

Mark J. Rebilas / US PRESSWIRE

The MMA world will soon be treated to some much-needed closure when the UFC unveils the full lineup for its highly anticipated New York City debut.

The promotion will host a press conference at Madison Square Garden - home of November's UFC 205 - on Tuesday. A press release on the UFC's website claims the "stars of UFC 205" will be in attendance.

The announcement comes shortly after a handful of already reported bouts were confirmed on Wednesday evening's edition of "UFC Tonight," while others were long rumored, only to be scrapped shortly afterward. The marquee matchup has yet to be revealed, and Niagara Falls' own Rashad Evans is the only fighter from New York state booked thus far.

Following the UFC's claim that a supposedly injured Conor McGregor was "unlikely" to make the landmark event – which was immediately refuted by several reporters – Tuesday's proceedings may shed some light on the Irishman's immediate future.

The presser is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET, and can be streamed live on the UFC's website. UFC 205 will take place Nov. 12.
