Romero announces Weidman fight on Instagram, then deletes post
UFC president Dana White probably won't be too happy about how his fighters are entertaining themselves on hump day.
Following Donald Cerrone's seemingly premature announcement on Wednesday of his bout with Robbie Lawler at UFC 205, middleweight contender Yoel Romero also shared his plans for the promotion's New York debut with an Instagram post that indicated he is signed to fight former UFC champion Chris Weidman.

Cerrone and Romero were both quick to delete their posts, likely due to the fact that the UFC marketing team are planning to properly make the announcements themselves in the near future.
The fight would be a massive boost to the Nov. 12 event, which does not have any bouts officially booked as of yet. Weidman has not fought since losing the middleweight title to Luke Rockhold last December, while Romero is currently No. 4 in the UFC's official rankings.
