Massimiliano Allegri has stated Juventus isn't a "selling club" and has questioned the mindset of those who would want to leave a side "among the top four European clubs."

Paul Pogba has headlined the enduring transfer tales of the summer as he's linked with a return to Manchester United, while Leonardo Bonucci is reportedly a target for Manchester City. Allegri is unconcerned, however, as he prepares for the Old Lady for another assault on domestic and continental football.

"I am calm about the English rumours," he told Gazetta dello Sport via ESPN FC. "Anyone who has the opportunity to leave Juventus has to consider things very carefully, because right now Juve are among the top four European clubs.

"This is not a selling club that just lets its players go. Pogba belongs to Juve and at the end of the day he too will want to win another Scudetto and hopefully the Champions League."

Should Pogba opt to join Manchester United in what could be a record-breaking fee, he would have to make do with commitments in the Europa League, and playing for a club that hasn't finished in the top four since 2013.

Juventus, meanwhile, is on the lookout for its sixth consecutive Serie A crown.

"We have grown in terms of appeal and awareness of our own capabilities," continued Allegri. "So far our market this summer has been eight out of 10, bringing in players of international pedigree like Medhi Benatia, Dani Alves and Miralem Pjanic."

Allegri could lift his assessment of the transfer activity to full marks if he brings in a winger. A void has been left in that position since Antonio Conte announced his intention of keeping Juan Cuadrado at Chelsea since his loan in Turin expired.
