Atlanta Braves outfielder Jeff Francoeur was treated to a poolside serenade during his day off in Miami on Monday.
That's utility man and aspiring rock star Chase d'Arnaud on the guitar. He and his band played Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival earlier in June and are preparing to release their debut album.
"Obviously the baseball schedule is difficult to maneuver around for the musical side, but baseball is the first priority," d'Arnaud told Cory McCartney of FOX Sports South in May. "This came after the fact. This was just a group of friends coming together and deciding 'OK, let's form a band.'"
Chase is the older brother of Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud, and their mother was an opera singer.
