Report: Dolphins believe Tunsil bong video leaked by former financial advisor
The Miami Dolphins believe the video posted to offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil's Twitter account in the moments before the start of the NFL draft was leaked by Tunsil's former financial advisor, Andrew Abramson of The Palm Beach Post reports.
Initial speculation had the video, which features Tunsil taking a bong hit in a gas mask, as possibly posted by Tunsil's stepfather, who is suing Tunsil over an unrelated matter.
The video led to a minor panic among NFL teams, with the Baltimore Ravens reportedly removing Tunsil from their draft board and passing on him with the sixth overall pick.
The Dolphins ended Tunsil's fall at No. 13 overall.
An attorney for Tunsil said Friday that his client will consider pursuing criminal charges against the leaker. The attorney also said Tunsil has ruled out the possibility of his stepfather or a former girlfriend posting the video.
