The Golden State Warriors have been fortunate with injuries over the past two seasons, but reality appears to be setting in.

Starting small forward Harrison Barnes and reserve guard Leandro Barbosa will remain sidelined with respective left ankle and shoulder injuries as the Warriors close out 2015 on the road in Texas.

This comes as Stephen Curry deals with his own lower leg injury.

Neither will play against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday or the Houston Rockets on New Year's Eve. Barnes has not played since Nov. 27, but has been practicing without limitations recently.

"He looks good," Dubs interim coach Luke Walton said of Barnes, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons. "He's got a little bit of rust. He keeps doing more and more, and he's not having any setbacks, which is nice. I don't think he's ready to play in an NBA game yet, but he's getting close."
