Spurs' Aldridge questionable vs. Mavericks
The San Antonio Spurs may be without power forward LaMarcus Aldridge for Wednesday's match against the Dallas Mavericks.
Aldridge continues to be hampered by a mild ankle sprain sustained last week against the New Orleans Pelicans. The injury has already cost him two games, although the Spurs have won both games in his absence by double-digits.
The team listed Aldridge as questionable on Tuesday.
It's been an awkward transition for Aldridge in moving from Portland to San Antonio. He looks tentative on offense, and is averaging only 15.3 points per game on 42.9 percent shooting from the field - down from 23.4 points and 46.6 percent last year.
Fortunately for the Spurs, Aldridge's struggles have not affected the team's success in the slightest. San Antonio owns the league's sixth-best offense and the second-best defense and has quietly raced out to a 11-3 record.
David West will likely draw the start if Aldridge is unable to play.
