VIDEO: Mason Plumlee dishes on life as Kevin Garnett's teammate

Jennifer Stewart-USA TODAY Sports

Few players have become eminently more likable in such a short time than Mason Plumlee since getting dealt from the Brooklyn Nets.

That's not necessarily a knock on the Nets, but Plumlee seems to have come into his own as a personality since landing with the Portland Trail Blazers. When he's not spitting hot fire on the mic, he's dishing great stories about former teammate Kevin Garnett.

Garnett is one of the most vocal on-court players the NBA has ever known, and to hear Plumlee tell it, his mentorship extends off the court, too.

"Kevin Garnett is crazy," Plumlee said on "Highly Questionable" before telling anecdotes about Garnett's treatment of youngsters, which includes controlling their eating habits and making them run plays on the tarmac.

Karl-Anthony Towns - who is hoping to be mentored by Garnett with the Minnesota Timberwolves this season - should probably hit Plumlee up to hear some of the stories he self-censored out of the interview. And from there, the young Wolves should tread lightly around Garnett and Professor Andre Miller.
