Warriors' Lee to miss Game 2 with lingering back injury

The Golden State Warriors will once again be without power forward David Lee when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 2 on Monday.

Lee is suffering from a back injury that kept him out of Game 1. The Warriors did manage to gain a 1-0 edge on Saturday, but not without Anthony Davis running roughshod on the interior.

In that regard, Lee wouldn't have made much of a difference. Lee is a subpar defender who doesn't have the quickness nor size to handle Davis on defense.

But Lee is a very talented offensive threat who can score on the block and hit jumpers from the elbow area. He averaged 7.9 points and 5.2 rebounds in 18.4 minutes per game this season.
