The Golden State Warriors announced that power forward David Lee will sit out of the playoff opener against the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday while struggling with a back strain he suffered earlier this week.
Lee, who was held out of Wednesday's regular-season finale with the Denver Nuggets, was listed a questionable for Saturday's postseason opener on Thursday.
Lee averaged 7.9 points and 5.2 rebounds in 18.4 minutes per game in 49 games this year.
