Kevin Love suffers eye injury, will be evaluated Thursday

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Kevin Love suffered a right corneal abrasion during Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat after taking an inadvertent hand to the face from Heat guard Mario Chalmers.

Love will be reevaluated on Thursday.

The good news is that he will travel with the team to Chicago, where his Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the Chicago Bulls Thursday in the final game of the pre-All-Star break schedule.

For those wondering what happens to Kevin Love

Love has been the subject of intense media speculation this week after he called his up and down season in Cleveland one of the toughest situations he's faced and LeBron James tweeted out a cryptic message that many believe was meant for Love.

The three-time All-Star has still been a productive player in his first season with the Cavs, averaging 17.1 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists, but his numbers have plummeted with fewer touches, fewer shots and decreased overall usage from his days in Minnesota.
