Let's start here: Kevin Love probably isn't getting traded for at least a month.

By signing Andrew Wiggins to his rookie contract Thursday, the Cleveland Cavaliers have essentially opened up a de facto 30-day negotiating window during which the bidding for the sharpshooting power forward could become more and more favorable for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Of course, there's still nothing saying the Wolves have to trade Love, or even that they will, but since Wiggins can not be dealt for 30 days, and the best offer on the table is said to be from Cleveland, Flip Saunders now has a month to try and coax a better offer from another team.

Here's a quick review of the suitors:

Cleveland Cavaliers - the Cavs' offer is said to begin with Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a future first-round pick, and the team has been working to bring in non-guaranteed salary to potentially help take on the contracts of Kevin Martin and J.J. Barea. Obviously, Wiggins is the most enticing piece on the table from any team.

Boston Celtics - thought to be a player before the draft, when they had more picks to offer, the Celtics are reportedly "ready to move on" and, like the Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers, help facilitate a deal as a third team.

Chicago Bulls - the Bulls also can't make a deal for nearly a month, having signed international prospect Nikola Mirotic and first-round pick Doug McDermott late last week. Those players can't be dealt for 30 days either, and along with Taj Gibson, reportedly make up the bulk of a Bulls offer, and the one that might be most likely to keep the Wolves competitive in the short-term.

Golden State Warriors - long a suitor for Love, the sticking point remains whether they'll eventually budge on including Klay Thompson in a deal (hypothetically with David Lee), and at what point they'll cut chase and focus instead on an extension for Thompson.

So again, nothing seems imminent and nothing has to happen, but if it's going to it would make very little sense for it to happen in the next 30 days. There's no reason for the Wolves to pull the trigger until Mirotic, McDermott and Wiggins are all once again able to be traded, and they're free to negotiate to that point.
